Jeff and I forgot to post about when Sophie got her first tooth. It was Friday, June 29th. We got up in the morning and poof it was there! I wanted to make sure I wrote it down before I totally forgot and then in 15 years Sophie would be mad at us because we didn't pay attention to these kinds of things. I'm going to have to improve in the "milestone memory" department. Amazingly she got both her two bottom teeth in almost at the same time. Now, at the beginning of August, we're waiting for the first of her top teeth to come in, and every day it seems to get a little closer.
The other thing I wanted to write about was how adorable Sophie is in her little table chair. Mark & Karen have had a little chair that hooks onto the table for years - Sarah was in it, and possibly Kristine too. Nicholas and Julia were both babies in it too. Sophie loves sitting at the table with all the grownups, and will swing her legs back and forth in the cutest way, especially when she likes what she's eating.
