Sophie had her 9 month appt. yesterday. She is now 28.5 inches long (75-80%), 18 lbs. 5 oz (40%) and her head is in the 75% still. We were pleased with her progress and it confirmed for us that she had had a HUGE growth spurt.
While we were in the office, Sophie had another milestone. Carol, the office manager, came to visit us and catch up. She said hi to Sophie and Sophie responded by getting so excited that she clapped her hands! First time ever! We were so pleased! All the nurses and docs in the office then stopped by to see - she was their afternoon entertainment break. She then proceeded to clap her hands every 2 minutes for the next couple hours - she was so proud of herself (and so were we)!
