I don't want to pity myself, but sadly our Mother's Day plans got canned this past weekend because Jeff, Sophie, and I were all rather sick. Sophie and Jeff did give me a card, and Jeff has framed two photos of Sophie & me that I love, which is super nice. We were all pretty bummed out yesterday though. No photo this year, because none of us were quite up to a photo op. Oh well, really every day is Mother's Day anyway, so it's just fine. The happy news though is that we're all better today, for the most part.
