Nerwgrange Farm

In county Meath there is a special place called Newgrange. It is a pre-Celtic round tomb. It's amazing. We enjoyed it a lot - and then we went next door to the Newgrange Farm. It was by far the most kid-friendly activity in all of Ireland. We saw chickens, roosters and peeps, sheep with lambs, cows with calfs, horses, geese, ducks, and a gorgeous pheasant (in the photo). It was Easter Monday and Cadbury was sponsoring an Easter Egg hunt. When we arrived, they handed us 3 Cadbury eggs so that Sophie was 'guaranteed' to find eggs. It was really sweet and a lot of fun!
