Ok, not that anyone reads this for parenting blabber, but I have to post a rave about gDiapers. I was pretty skeptical that I was going to like them more than disposibles, but I do. I have to say having to flush the insert and wash the outer parts is so not a big deal.
The biggest thing that has been a happy surprise is that Sophie no longer has ANY diaper rash. I had just accepted that Soph would have a red bottom until she was potty trained. The thing with gDiapers is they are breathable, so it has completely eliminated any redness. I sound like a commercial, but I've really been impressed.
If anyone out there reading this uses or is interested in using gDiapers, I have only one suggestion. Buy the outer gPants from the website. The design of them is slightly different - instead of a cloth waistband, it's a really nice soft wide, elastic band. It's much easier to get on and off, and I think will have better longevity.
