At Sophie's California party, I got cupcakes and had them spell out Happy Birthday Sophie. For her actual birthday I baked her a chocolate cake with cream cheese icing. In high school I worked at Baskin Robbins, so I got pretty good at spelling Happy Birthday in icing, so I was proud of myself for remembering how to do it.
